Fara is doing really well! She is a real joy and very attached to Megan. She is still a bit timid around new people but that is to be expected.

We've taken her for a few short car rides and to a nearby lake. She and the cats tolerate each other. Funnily, she guards Megan from the cats. The poor things are quite confused. She loves watching the chickens in their pen and loves going for walks into the field so she can stick her nose in mole holes and tries to dig them up.  She ends up looking like a grey dog instead of a white one and is very pleased with herself.

All in all it is a wonderful experience for us and for Fara. We are thrilled.

똑순이는 너무나 잘 지내요! 똑순이는 진정한 기쁨을 주는 아이예요. 엄마와 애착 관계가 잘 형성되었어요. 새로운 사람을 보면 여전히 조금 무서워하지만 예상했던 바이니까요.

자동차를 태우고 몇 번 외출했다가 근처 호수에도 갔었어요. 똑순이와 고양이들은 서로를 참아냈답니다. 웃기게도 똑순이가 고양이들에게서 엄마를 지키더라구요. 불쌍한 녀석들은 어리둥절해했고요. 똑순이는 우리에서 지내는 닭을 구경하기를 좋아하구요. 들판으로 산책을 나가는 것도 너무 좋아해요. 들판에 가면 두더지 구덩이를 찾아 코를 박고 구덩이를 열심히 파내곤 하죠. 그러고 나면 하얀 개는 없어지고 회색 개만 남아 있기도 해요.

전체적으로 호수 방문은 저희에게도 똑순이에게도 아주 멋진 경험이었어요.
